I have learned to be a leader. I am lucky to be a part of the Congolese Community. One important mindset I have learned from the Congolese Community is to help those that cannot help themselves. I have learned skills, adopted habits and augmented a mindset that will not only help me succeed in college, but also in my future career in medicine. I will use my experience to be a better member of the community by setting an example to the younger members.”
